Surgery
Hybrid surgery is surgery that combines the capabilities of galloping technology.
Hybrid surgery is a procedure that combines the capabilities of galloping technology with direct or indirect imaging, or other means of detection, providing a more detailed exploration and the safest and most accurate surgery in order to clearly identify and resect a lesion.
In the past, due to the lack of these capabilities or the intraoperative combination of these, the surgical intervention was of a greater degree with increased rates of potential complications and unnecessarily extensive resections, in order to ensure the removal of the lesion.
Today, with the help of the intraoperative endoscopy, the use of concomitant imaging devices such as portable X-ray, intraoperative ultrasound, robotic technology and other means that, depending on the strategic design of the operation, are being called upon to help with intraoperative surgery, surgery is becoming safer. This is a huge step forward compared to the past, and takes advantage of the present and future philosophy which is in favour of minimally invasive surgery and which is producing excellent results.
