From the very first appointment with Mr. Sdralis I felt that I was in good hands, I said to myself "here we are". I had previously made an appointment with Mr. Sdralis, but fear had stopped me and I never went... and here we are, "the murderer always returns to the scene of the crime"! 😅 This time I knew from the first moment that if I didn't do it with Mr. Sdralis, I would never do it with any other doctor. The doctor is an impeccable professional and an excellent person, focusing on the patient as a person — not as a number. Thanks to him, my diabetes insipidus and a small pneumonia after the surgery, which were pre-existing but no one else had noticed, were discovered in time. Despite the possible complications that could require the procedure to be performed in two parts, Mr. Sdralis and his team did the impossible possible 👏, completing the operation with complete success. The first few days in the hospital were difficult — I was like a plant (okay, the tenths were also a bit to blame 😅). But everything went incredibly well, and I feel like the best is just beginning 🌈 Mr. Giannis was always by the doctor's side, available on the phone for any questions, with patience, kindness and care. And yes… I also got my “stick” from the doctor about the breathing exercises 🤭, but that's the only way things are done properly! Oh, and I have the best to say about the anesthesiologist, Mr. Skalimis. The night before the surgery, when we told the nurses that we wanted something to help me sleep, he responded right away. The morning before the surgery, he stopped by the room to reassure me, and before discharge, he stopped by again, to make sure that everything was okay. I was quite afraid that I might not wake up… And finally, when everything went well, she said to my mother: “I said I would wake her up and I did.” A huge thank you to Mr. Sdralis and the entire team. They gave me back my life — not only mine, but also my family’s 💙 With such a team, there is no fear; everything is destined to go perfectly! ✨ The five stars are nothing compared to my immense gratitude ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Science makes the doctor competent — but humanity makes him great!! I was a big girl since I was little. I always tried diets, I lost 10 kilos, as soon as I relaxed a little, I gained 15. When I had my children, when I didn't care so much about myself, the situation got out of hand. In addition to the 3-digit number on the scale, I had my waist. Injections were not missing from the drawer. New health problems began to appear that I didn't know about until then. The doctors' answer was always the same: "you need to lose weight". I would be very happy, if I could... I discovered the group on FB obesity surgeries and, surprised by the results, I made an appointment with a specialist. I was scared. I went home. I continued my life with the problems. Two years later and with more kilos more, I said I would see another doctor again, just in case.... Indeed, the new doctor answered my questions and explained the procedures to me with certainty. It wasn't the "do it and see, if you're a good girl, it'll work out for you" that I encountered the first time. There were steps in the diet before and after the surgery, which I understood and said "yes, I can do this". That's how I gained confidence both in the doctor - that he was asking for specific things, and in myself - that I could implement them. Why do they say that the beginning is half the battle? Because I was more educated until I made the decision, than in the surgery itself. I finally did it. I went with confidence, without anxiety. As an operation, it was bearable. I wouldn't say it hurt. As a controlled discomfort, it was 2-3 days that passed with painkillers. In a year, I was half down. Literally half. From 130 kilos, I went to 65. And I'm still that way, after four years. In my everyday life, I feel like I'm flying! I run for all my jobs, without any pain. I was also lucky because my body "got back together" on its own, without plastic surgery. In conclusion, I wish I had done it 10 years ago, but better late than never! I would like to thank my doctor Elias Sdralis and his team, who, with their excellent medical knowledge and personalized plan, created an environment of safety and stability for me, to live a new life!

I was always hesitant to make the decision to have surgery to address my weight issue. I was overweight from a young age and when I first heard about surgery, I "kicked" due to unpleasant consequences and undesirable results.
