Laparoscopic
3D laparoscopic surgery is a development of classic surgery, with the application of vision in 3 dimensions.
The dimension of depth is added to the 2 initial surface dimensions, which gives the surgeon the ultimate advantage of handling tools and tissues with greater ease compared to conventional laparoscopic surgery, in which the surgeon is empirically called to calculate the depth and therefore his movements.
The three-dimensional sense of vision gives the surgeon the true sense of space, inside the patient’s abdomen.
Taking advantage of these opportunities makes the operation safer than before, since it facilitates the surgeon in his work.
3D technology has been adopted by robotic surgery, and has become daily practice at a very low cost compared to what is imposed by robotic technology.
