Surgery
Robotic surgery has been a technological revolution of recent years.
Its creation was initially based on the need for remote intervention, so that the surgeon could perform operations from a distance.
But this initial need was then replaced by the emerging advantages that robotic surgery offers despite the high cost of disposable supplies and technology.
The unique millimeter control capability of the tools, the electronic damping of the surgeon’s possible but perhaps critical tremour of the fingers, the mathematical precision of movements, the minimal invasiveness, the protection of the tissues, voice and eye control and the possibility of articulated tool movements, as if the surgeon has his hand inside, are just some of the advantages.
The robot is controlled exclusively by the surgeon, using joysticks and a 3D screen that gives a sense of depth and real operation in space, to the benefit of the patient.
